What is BLAST2GENE?

Top

BLAST2GENE is a program that allows a detailed analysis of genomic regions containing completely or partially duplicated genes. From a BLAST (or BL2SEQ) comparison of a protein or nucleotide query sequence with any genomic region of interest, BLAST2GENE processed all high scoring pairwise alignments (HSPs) and provides the disposition of all independent copies along the genomic fragment. The results are provided in text and graphical outputs to allow an automatic and visual evaluation of the respective region.

Run BLAST2GENE

METHOD 1.
Run from your BLAST (or BL2SEQ) output (takes a few seconds)
Put your BLAST (or BL2SEQ) output

or upload your BLAST (or BL2SEQ) output

METHOD 2.
Run from BLAST with your sequence against human chromosome region (takes a few minutes)
Put your sequence

Search against human , from to (max range: 10 Mb)
