PhD Position: Regulating RNA by Cations-Insights from Molecular Dynamics Simulations

The Max Planck Institute of Biophysics, Department of Theoretical Biophysics has one open PhD position within the Emmy Noether Research group (Schwierz-Neumann). The work focuses on the theoretical description of the interaction between RNA and metal cations using computer simulations and methods from statistical physics. Start date is June 1st 2019. Postdoc in cryo electron tomography of ion channels

A postdoctoral position is available in group of Misha Kudryashev at the Max Planck Institute for Biophysics and the Buchmann Institute for Molecular Life Science of Goethe University in Frankfurt on Main, Germany. The project will focus on determining structures of voltage-gated ion channels under a membrane potential. The position is available from May the 1st 2019 or later for two years with possible extension. The applications will be evaluated upon recieval until the position is filled. Soft deadline is March 31st.
